Old Trail Notes

• 03-Jul-2009: The blazes along US Hwy 441 between Forever Florida and Three Lakes have been freshly painted.
• 02-Jul-2009:  The blazes along SR 60 between Three Lakes and the Kissimmee River have been painted. Trail to Godwin Hammock is extremely wet as you see from the picture shown below.

• 13-Jun-2009: The trail between Three Lakes and Prairie Lakes on the north end has been rerouted and taken off of Canoe Creek Road. The new route starts at the entrance to Prairie Lakes and passes through a gate on the north side of Canoe Creek Road. It then heads northwest through pine flat woods, passing near a borrow pit and a small pond before merging back into the Florida Trail. Several benches have been added along the route.
