Forever Florida and the Crescent J Ranch

Location

Located in central Osceola County, Florida near the town of Holopaw.

Directions

From Exit 180 on I-95 near Melbourne, go west on US Hwy 192 for about 23.4 mile until you reach Holopaw. Turn left and head south on US Hwy 441 for about 7.8 miles. The entrance to Forever Florida and the Crescent J Ranch will be on your left.

Hiking

The 6.5 mile section of Florida National Scenic Trail through the Forever Florida and the Crescent J Ranch. It starts along US Hwy 441 about 0.8 miles southeast of the park's main entrance and ends along the western boundary of the Bull Creek Wildlife Management Area. Some of the interesting sites to visit include the boardwalk along Bull Creek, the new Zipline Safari and the Cypress Restaurant. Hikers must check in at the Visitor Center or call 407-957-9794.

Trail Notes

• 2013-04-26:  A section of the FNST was rerouted around the future Central Florida Animal Reserve zoological site on the corner of SR 441 and Dr. Broussard's Road.
• 2010-04-10:  Due to the expansion of the Forever Florida zipline area, a one mile section of  the FNST had to be rerouted.  The trail now passes by a scenic overlook on Bull Creek.
